Problem
Floors in industrial settings, such as this Wixom, MI warehouse, are subject to significant wear from high traffic and use. The property owner's main concern was functionality, but she also wanted a finish that was aesthetically pleasing.
We provided a FREE consultation and estimate, and explained that polished concrete would provide the beauty, strength, abrasion resistance, and ease of maintenance she wanted.
Solution
Our mechanical grinding process removed the failing epoxy and slightly exposed the aggregates (little rocks in the concrete), giving this floor a beautiful salt and pepper appearance. We applied a strengthening densifier, allowed it to completely dry, and then burnished to a medium gloss finish for optimal slip resistance. Our final step was to apply a penetrating sealer.
As you can see this floor is in great shape and this warehouse is move-in ready. To learn more, visit our Concrete Polishing page.
